River Mill is looking to recruit a full time dedicated and highly motivated TA/HLTA to work in a mainstream classroom.  This position is for an immediate start - subject to pre-employment checks.

  • This is a permanent position
  • 31 hours and 25 minutes per week, 38 weeks per year (term-time only)
  • TA – Kent KR5 – 23 hours 15 mins  
  • HLTA – Kent KR 6 – 8 hours per week
  • 8.30 am- 3.15 pm Monday –Friday with 30 minutes unpaid lunch and 20 minutes paid break
  • Actual Annual Salary £17,200

 We expect the successful candidate to be:

  • Dedicated and enthusiastic and someone who is motivated to provide positive learning experiences and outcomes for all pupils.
  • Have high expectations of learning and behaviour as well as inspire and motivate pupils across the school
  • To be able to communicate well with pupils, parents, carers and all members of staff across the school
  • Have an understanding of working with children who have SEND and the challenges that are presented by these.
  • Have lots of enthusiasm, understanding and patience for working with children.
