The Abbey School is seeking to appoint a Community Sports Centre Supervisor. The successful candidate will be required work as part of the Sports and Letting Team to assist with the hire of the school facilities that take place during the evenings and weekends and support the school site team to ensure effective and efficient lettings, cleanliness, safety and security

This is a full time, permanent role, paid on the Kent Scheme Pay Scale KR5 (FTE £24,040 - £25,002)

The hours for the role will consist of:

37 Hours per week, Mon-Sun, evenings and weekends (worked over 5 days so that you have two non-working days per week, shifts between 4.30pm-10.15pm weekdays and 8am-4.30pm weekends (with an unpaid  30 minute break). Shifts to be agreed monthly in advance.

The main purpose of the role is to cover the hire of facilities primarily based in the Sports Centre, and the main school building during evenings and weekends. The aim is to welcome people who hire our facilities ensuring we meet their requirements, and that the areas are prepped ready for their use. This is a busy role and will involve liaising with our community partners, so a high level of customer service and communication skills is essential.  Previous experience of working in a similar sports related role would be an advantage.
