A vacancy has arisen for an After-School Supervisor to run our Wraparound Care in school from October 2024.

 

We are looking for a pro-active and enthusiastic individual to join our friendly team to supervise children and staff at our busy breakfast and after school club which runs from 7.30am- 8.45am and 3.15pm – 6pm every school day which provides an exciting range of activities including sports, games, crafts and much more.

We are seeking an individual who is willing to encourage children to engage through play and interact positively with each other and who would be able to plan, create and implement activities.

 

The successful candidate should be a First Aider, a Designated Safeguarding Lead and hold a food hygiene certificate (full training can be provided). This job involves outdoor playground supervision in all weather. The successful candidate will need to have the ability to use IT effectively.

 

You will need to be trustworthy, flexible and be able to work with all members of the school community. You will also be expected to adhere to the school’s policy for behaviour management and act as a respectful role model when speaking and listening to children.

 

The post is term time only, 5 days a week for 5.25 hours per day (7.15-9.15 am and 3.00-6.15pm on Kent Range Point 5 (fte £24040, pro rata pay £14420 pa).

Information about the school

We are a large, lively junior school with a friendly, enthusiastic and happy staff. We are a three form entry school and our teachers enjoy the opportunity to work as a year group team, sharing expertise and supporting one another. Roseacre Junior School is a Foundation school with extensive grounds situated in the village of Bearsted. We have a computing suite with 35 computers. Ipads are also available for classroom use. We have a lovely new outdoor classroom to enhance children's learning experiences.
