Teaching Assistant/Lunchtime Supervisor - 27.5 hours per week (5 days), term time only

Breakfast and After School Club Supervisor – 9 hours per week (3 days), term time only. Days to be discussed at interview.

1 year contract, until 25th August 2025

Teaching Assistant/Lunchtime Supervisor - NJC Scale 2/3 Points 3-6 term time only, (pro rata to £14,130 - £14,849 per annum)

Breakfast and After School Club Supervisor – NJC Scale 1 Point 2 term time only, (pro rata to £4,549 per annum)

We have an exciting Teaching Assistant opportunity available at St Michael’s Church of England Primary School; a small village school with a big heart.

We are looking to fill a one-year fixed term Teaching Assistant/Lunchtime Supervisor post with 3 days Breakfast/After School Club cover, for 36.5 hours a week, term time only.   The position will require you to work either within a whole class, 1:1 or in small groups across both EYFS, KS1 and KS2 classes.

  • Passionate about helping all children to achieve their potential and able to work with challenging children
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • A thorough knowledge of the Primary and EYFS curriculums and expectations and a thorough knowledge and understanding of child development and children's needs
  • NVQ level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification and/or 2 GCSEs (A-C) passes (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
