We are looking for a highly motivated Teaching Assistant to support the learning of pupils and work alongside the class teacher to raise standards and maintain our very high expectations.

The successful candidate will be a hardworking, creative, energetic individual who is passionate about supporting the teaching staff in securing high quality learning, raising standards and having a positive impact on pupils' learning experience. To work under the guidance of the teaching staff to support pupils on a 1-1 basis, support learning activities, maintain pupil records and promote pupils' social and emotional development.

They will work as part of an outstanding team of Teaching Assistants and will be committed to ensuring Quality First Teaching and Learning.

The Trust comprises of Skinners’ Kent Academy and Skinners’ Kent Primary School.

The Academy opened on September 1st 2009. It is an independent, non fee-paying, mixed, all ability school, funded by the DfE and supported fully by its lead sponsor The Skinners’ School, a grammar school for boys and the Skinners’ Company. The Skinners’ Kent Academy Trust is founded on the principles of a culture of high standards and high aspirations, a culture of active participation, an emotionally rich learning environment and an inclusive environment where every child is known and every learner supported.

The main aim of the Academy Trust is to provide the highest quality of education for students, from Reception to Year 11 and the Sixth Form. The Academy Trust aims to raise and reflect aspirations within the local community and provide education, social and economic benefits for all.
