We are looking to employ a Teaching Assistant to support one of our Early Years pupil’s with complex special educational needs, under the guidance of our SENCo, Class Teachers and a team of teaching assistants.  This will include whole class, small group and 1:1 activities.

We are seeking someone who is nurturing and passionate about inclusion to ensure our pupils thrive, both academically and personally.  The ideal applicant will have a good understanding of children’s learning and development.  They will be a team player, and someone who is also able to work on their own initiative, adapting activities to meet the needs of children.  Experience of supporting children with SEND is desirable.

This is a part-time (30 hours) a week term-time position with a competitive pro rata salary and opportunities for professional development.  The post is linked to funding, so will be reviewed in line with this.  For further details please email senco@frittenden.kent.sch.uk

Information about the school

Frittenden Church of England Primary School is a popular small school in the heart of the village. Whilst we benefit from an idyllic location in the heart of the countryside, we are easily accessible from Maidstone, Ashford and Tunbridge Wells and the surrounding villages. We currently have 96 children on roll divided into 4 classes, with an intake of 15 into the Reception class and mixed classes thereafter.

As a church school we enjoy a close relationship with St Mary's Church. We promote our Christian values of Compassion, Joy and Respect throughout our school.
