TEACHING ASSISTANTS REQUIRED TO COVER POSTS IN SRP CLASSES: OCTOBER 2024 START

Whitfield Aspen School have several exciting opportunities to join an innovative school, which is part of an expansion programme.

VACANCY: Temporary Contract until July 2025 supporting SRP Pupils: 31 hours per week TTO plus KCC holiday pay (Mon – Fri).

Salary: Kent Range 3 pro-rata (equivalent to £23,337 for full time)

£12.10 per hour + SEN Allowance

Core hours: 08:45 – 15:15 Monday – Friday.

Whitfield Aspen School values education, skills and experience. Candidates who possess GSCE qualifications with grades A*- C or 4 and above in English and Mathematics / NVQ2 / Equivalent or higher is advantageous. Candidates must be able to provide original examination certificates prior to the interview.

Experience of working in school supporting children is desirable.

Skills tests in English and Mathematics will be carried out during the interview process together with classroom practical activities.

Successful applicants will be required to sign up to the School’s Core Values.

Information about the school

Whitfield Aspen School is unusual in a national context, in that it is a two/three form entry mainstream primary, with over four hundred pupils, combined with the district special school for one hundred and seventy-two pupils with Profound, Severe and Complex Learning Needs (PSCN).
