St George’s CE Primary School are seeking to appoint a hardworking, flexible and inclusive higher needs funding teaching assistant to join our successful school. Our established team will support you in your role and provide any training required. This role also includes supervising lunchtime for an hour.

The following role comprises of being the key adult for pupils on the SEND register, leading a range of personalised interventions to meet their needs. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO, to support teaching and learning for these key pupils.

Experience of working in school is essential. Experience and/or training in supporting intimate care needs would be desirable.  

This role is offered for 30 hours per week 9.00 – 3.30 daily, term time only.

Current DBS and completion of compulsory in house Child Protection and Prevent training course will form part of any contract offered along with reference checks.
