We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work 31.25 hours per week, 8.30 a.m. - 3.15 p.m. with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break, Monday - Friday, term time only.    We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic person who loves working with children and wants to work as part of a team to ensure that all children achieve their potential in a happy and safe environment. 

To join our TA team you will need:

  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A friendly, approachable and flexible manner
  • The ability to work on your own initiative with good time management skills

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Good knowledge of behaviour management strategies.
  • High expectations of themselves and our children.
  • Good communication skills with an ability to record and report on children's progress.

The successful applicant will be required to supervise children at playtime and/or lunch time on a rota basis - an alternative break will be provided. We are an enthusiastic team who are committed to providing the very best learning opportunities for all our children.
