Woodlands Primary School, north Tonbridge is looking to appoint a hard working and reliable person who would like to be part of a busy and supportive premises team. The successful candidate will assist in the maintenance and security of the school premises, ensuring a safe working environment, as directed. Experience within a similar position is desirable but not essential.

  • Permanent, Part Time Position
  • 32.5 hours per week, five days, Monday to Friday
  • Hours - Monday to Friday 10am - 5pm 
  • Salary -  Kent Range 3 £19,293 (Full Time) Pro Rata Salary £16,946
  • Start date 19th August 2024/ASAP

The Caretaker plays a vital role in the day-to-day running of the premises and will be able to work cooperatively with all members of the school community to ensure high standards are maintained at all times.

The successful candidate will be subject to a fully enhanced DBS check prior to employment start date.

Information about the school

We are a successful and happy school in North Tonbridge, with enthusiastic and dedicated staff work strongly together to provide exciting learning experiences for the children both inside and outside the classroom. Currently we have approximately 560 pupils on roll, organised into three classes in most year groups across three buildings: Saplings (EYFS), Acorn (KS1) and Oak (KS2).
