Due to the expansion of our successful Post 16 team, Rivermead School part of the Rivermead Inclusive Trust are seeking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work as part of our Post 16 team supporting learners aged 11 to 19 with a range of complex needs including autism. We are looking for a talented person who is enthusiastic and can work on their own initiative; for the right candidate, there may be the opportunity to support the development of Careers within our Post 16 provision.  All candidates must have a good knowledge of English and Maths and it is desirable if you have previous experience of working in a Post16 provisions and/or with learners who have SEND needs.  The successful candidate will be primarily based in our Post 16 provision however, you could be asked to work across our provisions.
