Administration Officer/Cover Co-Ordinator

Salary:  MNS Range 5

We are looking to employ an Administration Officer/Cover Co-ordinator to assist in organising the administration of planned staff cover as well as supporting our school admin team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the input of the cover diary where staff absences are known in advance and will also support the school admin office with general office duties including telephone/email enquiries, the typing of documents and administering paperwork connected to student leave of absence requests.

Candidates are required to have excellent word processing skills using both Microsoft Word and Excel.

Hours are 37 per week 7.30am until 3.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am until 3.00pm on Friday (inclusive of a 30-minute lunch break). There is some flexibility with working hours which can be discussed at interview.  The school will also consider either term time or full time across the year employment and some hybrid working is possible.

About the School

Alongside a salary of between £22,595.00 - £23,693.00 per annum (which is subject to an annual review in September 2024), the school will contribute 22.5% (the equivalent of between £5,084 and £5,331 pa for a full-time member of staff) towards you being a member of the Local Government Pension Scheme.
