We know that exceptional Geography practitioners are in high demand which is why we are offering a recruitment and retention bonus of £2,000 for the right candidate (£1,000 payable upon joining, and £1,000 payable after 1 year's service).

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Geography to join our dedicated Humanities department. The successful candidate will have a passion for Geography and a desire to inspire students to engage with the world and develop a deeper understanding of its physical and human landscapes.

The History and Geography teams are led by exceptionally experienced teachers with a wealth of resources and expertise to share.

Support will be provided for less practised teachers and the option to teach at KS5 will be considered for suitably skilled and proficient applicants. If you are passionate about Geography and dedicated to inspiring the next generation of learners, we would love to hear from you.

The ideal candidate will:

  • be passionate about their subject(s) and be able to communicate the importance of the subject with students.
  • be organised, efficient, reliable and strive to meet high standards and expectations.
  • be able to inspire students from a range of backgrounds and abilities and help them strive to be better people.
  • be an excellent classroom practitioner and confident to deliver their subject(s).

This is a permanent position starting from September 2024 or January 2025, dependent on the successful candidates availability. The team have capacity to accept both part time and full time applications for this role.
