Following the current postholder’s retirement, we are looking for our new School Business Manager to plan, develop and deliver the business support functions of our school as part of our senior leadership team. 

If you are an experienced, forward thinking professional, with a background in business / financial skills, and would enjoy working in a school environment, we want to hear from you and would welcome the opportunity to show you round our school.

The successful applicant will be employed on a permanent contract for 37 hours per week for 39 weeks a year pro rata.  It is paid on Kent Range 10 pro rata. Appointment will be from 1 November 2024.

Information about the school

Sandling is a popular, high achieving, 2 form entry primary school in the north of Maidstone.

The school is well resourced with many facilities including: a library, computing suite and extensive grounds with a wildlife and outdoor learning area. We offer a wide variety of clubs for children to enrich their learning.

We had a one day OFSTED inspection in Feb 2020 with a good outcome which confirmed our high expectations and standards.

With easy access from the M20, and being situated less than 3 miles from Maidstone centre, the school is easily accessible by road.
