BEHAVIOUR FOR LEARNING UNIT (BFLU) SUPPORT REQUIRED FOR SEPTEMBER 2024 OR SOONER

16 hours per week on the following pattern Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 10.00am – 2.30pm and Wednesday, 11.00am – 1.30pm.

£8,532 (FTE £23,337)

We have an exciting opportunity, we are looking for a new member to join our behaviour team with a focus on supporting pupils in a small environment to help them regulate and empower them to be successful in a classroom setting.  We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated team player to join our team.

As a secondary TA supporting in the Behaviour for Learning Unit you will:

  • Have experience of working with children to support their learning;
  • Have an understanding of children with SEND issues and experience of working with them.
  • Have the ability to be flexible to the needs of the school
  • Have the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
  • Have a passion to enable every child to achieve their full potential and seek innovative ways of doing so, working in liaison with the Assistant Headteacher and Alternative Curriculum Lead to provide targeted interventions
  • Have excellent communication skills with a flexible attitude and effective time management skills
