We are looking to appoint a part time Office Administrator to join our strong team of dedicated staff at our successful and popular school.

The person appointed should be experienced, enthusiastic and hardworking. They will ensure a welcoming, professional reception to all children, parents, carers, staff and visitors. They will have excellent customer service and communication skills. 

The successful candidate will need to be positive, highly confidential in all matters, have a professional attitude, be well organised, highly flexible and have excellent inter-personal skills. They will be the first point of call for all visitors to the school office as well as for any incoming calls.

The post is for term-time plus 2 INSET days.

KR4:  15 hours a week – Wednesday and Friday, 8:15am - 4:15pm.

We wish to appoint someone who has:

  • Experience of working within an office environment, preferably a school setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A friendly, flexible and professional approach, particularly when multi-tasking under pressure.
  • A good working knowledge of office management systems, Microsoft Word/Excel/Google.
  • A working knowledge of Arbor is a significant advantage, although training and support will be provided to the suitable candidate.
  • GCSE English and Maths or equivalent plus NVQ 3 in Office Administration.
  • The ability to prioritise workload to ensure office systems operate efficiently for the smooth running of the school.
  • You will be willing to support the caring ethos of our school, with an ability to work well with others as part of a team, whilst also using your own initiative.
  • You will have a positive approach to working with children and a commitment to our safe guarding procedures.
