We are looking to appoint an exceptional and inspring KS2 Early Career Teacher (ECT) from September 2024. 

The successful candidate will join our fantastic school and be part of a team dedicated to delivering first class learning for every student. We believe in nurturing each individual pupil in order for them to reach their full potential. If you share this ethos then our school is the school for you! 

You will be joining a school with a strong and supportive senior leadership team for whom staff wellbeing is a priority. We appreciate the challenges teachers face and we do all we can to reduce unnecessary workload.

A passion for sport would be desirable but not essential. 

The close date will be during our half term break, therefore, it will be difficult to arrange looking around the school until w/c 10th June. Candidates are strongly encouraged to apply and then come and visit the school before interviews.  

Information about the school

Shepherdswell CEPS is Federated with Eythorne Elvington School.

We are a mixed gender school in the heart of a village community, with pupils aged between 4 and 11 offering a range of opportunities to parents and children. To support our families, we provide wraparound care from 7:45am to 5:45pm by providing a breakfast and after school club every weekday.

Inclusive Christian values are alive throughout our school as recognised in our SIAMS Inspection in October 2019 and a Good judgement by OFSTED in October 2021.

We continually seek to improve all that we do and work closely with local schools.
