We are seeking to appoint a compassionate, capable, organised individual who will oversee the wellbeing offer at KITE College.  

 

KITE College is an Independent Specialist Post-16 College in Sittingbourne, providing specialist education and training for young people with an Education Health Care Plan with ASD and SEMH. 

 

The successful candidate will be an experienced, qualified counsellor and BCAP registered.  You will have a Level 6 Counsellor Qualification/ commitment to undertake relevant training in order to provide clinical supervision to student counsellors.  

  

We are looking for a dynamic individual with the ability to design, deliver and oversee group and individual wellbeing and SEMH interventions working closely with the SENCO and our therapists.  

You will be driven to develop our new wellbeing hub including a clothes and food bank. 

Experience of working with Post 16 and neurodiverse learners is desirable but not essential.   

You will also need to have experience of working closely with Safeguarding and Pastoral staff as well as external agencies, to ensure communication and support is appropriate and robust.
