We have an unexpected opening within lower KS2 for a dedicated and committed teacher. Having just had a successful Ofsted visit - which saw us retain our ‘good’ - Canterbury Road Primary School is on an exciting journey to further make the school work for our incredible pupils and community. For experienced candidates we offer you the opportunity to work within an established team with flexible leadership and a willingness to be open to new ideas. For ECTs we can offer purposeful support with skilled leaders who will work to embed strengths and develop areas of improvement. We firmly believe that all staff are on a development journey, as is the school as a whole, and stronger stakeholders will ultimately support our pupils.

Canterbury Road Primary School is a one form entry primary school close to Sittingbourne town centre and within easy reach of the M2, M20 and the train station.

We have interested, curious children who love to learn and enjoy coming to school. Our children make excellent progress from their start points and progress & attainment are above national levels at KS2 as they move into their secondary education. We have highly skilled staff who are committed to the development of the whole child and a have an unwavering focus on all pupils achieving their best.

We are very well resourced and have committed staff dedicated to our children and their families.
