CARETAKER (PART-TIME)

Salary Grade:              D2 - £14,055 - £15,798 per annum (FTE £23,114 to £25,979)

Hours:                        22.5 hours a week (1.00pm to 5.30pm daily) – All Year Round

Contract:                    Part-time and Permanent

Responsible to:           Headteacher

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, efficient, flexible, friendly and reliable person to be our new Caretaker.  The successful applicant will be responsible for the security of the establishment, providing a general maintenance service and a wide range of other duties ensuring a clean, healthy and safe environment, supported by a team of cleaning staff who you would line manage.  Training opportunities will be provided to help fulfil specific aspects of the job.

The post is for 22.5 hours a week throughout the year (including school holiday periods), with flexible working hours required to meet the varying needs of the school when overtime will be paid.
