Sixth Form Pastoral Support required for September 2024 or earlier (to be negotiated)

Monday: 8.30am – 4.30pm

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: 8.30am – 3.30pm

Friday: 8.30am – 2.30pm

32.5 hours per week, Term Time Only plus 2 summer results days in August

We are seeking to recruit to this position and are looking for someone who has the experience, expertise and knowledge to be a support role to our Sixth Form pupils under the guidance of our Director of Sixth Form.

In this role you will require:

  • Knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to communicate with various stakeholders
  • Experience working with pupils to encourage positive behaviour and ability to address issues with pupils directly
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience of working in a school setting
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality within the school
  • Knowledge of SIMS
  • Ability to work under pressure and with high accuracy
  • Grade 4 (or equivalent) or above in English and Maths would be an advantage
