Casual Lettings Assistant

NJC Grade D2 point 4 (£11.98 P/H)

Zero Hour Contract

We are seeking appointment of a Casual Facilities and Lettings Assistant to provide assistance to the Facilities Management and Site Team. The post holder will maintain efficiency and administration systems, looking to improve and develop where necessary. The successful applicant will be a strong communicator who can receive and process complex information in an efficient way, and in return pass on required key-information and action points to the Team.

To oversee the lettings of premises. Ensuring visitors needs are met and the premises are secured at the end of each letting. The Facilitator will take pride in the premises that they are looking after and represent the Trust in the best way possible.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Opening and closing of the site for the hiring/event. Ensuring the premises are secured.
  • Meeting and greeting visitors and assisting them with any queries.
  • Assisting with the decoration of the building as required by the hirer.
  • Ensuring internal and external areas are clean, tidy and any rubbish removed.
  • To liaise with the Lettings Administrator to determine booking allocations.
  • To safeguard the health and safety of all staff, students and hirers

General

  • Be aware of and comply with relevant policies and procedures including health and safety, confidentiality and data protection reporting all concerns to an appropriate person.
  • Participate in training and other learning activities as required.
  • Set high expectations of conduct whist acting as a good role model for others.
  • Assist visitors with general enquiries.
