Are you an experienced teaching assistant who wants to take the next step in your career?  We are looking for an HLTA to come and join our noisy, enthusastic and highly skilled team in making a diffference to children's lives. We are looking for someone from September onwards.  

In this role, you will take responsiblity for agreed learning activities including regular PPA and leadership cover and other short term cover where appropriate.  This will involve preparing and delivering already planned lessons and then marking work in the time provided. When not covering, you will be working with groups and individuals alongside other professionals to ensure rapid progress.  You will also provide lunchtime supervision.  

We don't require any qualifications for this role; all necessary training will be provided to the right candidate.  The right attitude and aptitude are far more important than qualifications.  Previous experience as a TA,  teacher or instructor in school is essential.  

The role is 8:30 - 4:00 term time only, 39 weeks per year.  The after school time is provided for marking and preparation.  There is a half hour unpaid lunchbreak.

Cage Green Primary School is a small, happy primary school in north Tonbridge with 210 pupils from Reception to Year Six, including a resourced provision for children with autistic spectrum conditions.
