Are you an experienced or inspiring ECT who is a skilled Reception or Key Stage One Teacher? Would you like to teach in a one-form entry, family orientated school where the children have big hearts, are eager to learn and behave well? Harcourt Primary is an OFSTED rated Good school (October 2021) that truly believes that not only does every child matter but also ever member of staff matters! 

We are looking for a fantastic teacher to come and join us in September 2024. Ideally we are looking for an experienced Reception Class teacher that  has the passion and determination to inspire our children. The successful candidate will be confident and creative, have the ability to capture children's imagination and develop a love of learning that will prepare the children for the future. 

As a school we welcome flexible working and would consider this role being a job share if two strong candidates can be employed. Please state within your application if you would like to be considered for a part-time, or full-time position.

Harcourt Primary is a family-orientated, one-form entry school with a private nursery attached. The school is set in extensive grounds with large playing fields, a wild garden and pond.

At Harcourt we pride ourselves in being a small school where the staff, pupils and parents all work together to give the children every opportunity to be the best that they can be. In October 2021 we were visited by OFSTED, who agreed that we are a a Good school with many strengths. Children at Harcourt are polite and well-behaved which allows all of our staff can focus on ensuring all children can learn. As a school we highly inclusive and believe passionately in supporting the whole child. We are extremely proud of our whole school community.
