Outstanding teacher sought to join our happy, thriving school.

We are looking for a highly skilled, enthusiastic and experienced lower KS2 teacher to provide maternity cover from September 2024. The post could be full-time or 3 days per week. The vacancy would suit an outstanding ECT with experience of, and a passion for, teaching KS2 children. An interest in ICT and a willingness to co-ordinate the subject in the future would be an advantage.

You would be joining a close and supportive team at an Outstanding village primary school. 

You will be:

Speldhurst Church of England Aided Primary School is in a village 3 miles from Tunbridge Wells in Kent and is at the heart of a thriving village community. We are a small, caring school with just 213 pupils so it is possible to know every child.

The school became Voluntary Aided in September 2004 and is known for its strong sense of community and Christian ethos. We have an Outstanding Ofsted judgement (February 2014) and an Excellent SIAMS judgement (June 2019). Our dedicated team of teachers, governors and support staff work closely with parents to provide the best possible opportunities for our children. We provide a happy, caring environment, a broad and balanced academic curriculum and promote high standards of behaviour.
