Kent Range 6 - £25,127 (pro-rata £20,204) 32.5 hours per week, term time only plus 2 weeks during school holidays.

We are looking to appoint a proactive and highly motivated HR Officer to work alongside the HR Manager to deliver an effective and efficient day to day HR service for our school.

You will undertake duties across a range of HR activities including; payroll and data management entry, recruitment and selection, supporting absence management processes, overseeing staff training databases, adhering to all HR Policies.

The ideal candidate will be committed to continually working towards creating the best possible working environment for all staff which will create a learning environment for our students to thrive.

This position would suit a HR professional with at least 2 years generalist HR experience. Although CIPD qualifications are advantageous, they are not required for this role and the ability to flex with the needs of the role would supersede this. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist with day to day operations of the HR function and duties
  • Provide clerical and administrative HR support
  • Compile and update employee records 
  • Assist with employee requests regarding Human Resources issues
  • Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, leavers, overtime etc.)
  • Communicate with the School's HR and Payroll provider when necessary
  • Assist with recruitment checks
