Woodpecker Court is looking for a flexibly minded person for a hybrid role of tutoring, small group work, intervention and learning support. As an Ofsted Outstanding Specialist Post 16 Provision, we are developing this new role of Flexi Learning Support to meet the changing needs of our learners. The role will be varied in it’s nature and will respond to need, but the successful candidate can expect a rewarding mix of roles working with our students. 

This is a term time only role, Monday to Friday for 40 hours per week.

Our Post-16 curriculum includes vocational courses in Occupational Studies, Land-Based Studies, Animal Care, Animal Management, Catering and Hair & Beauty.

These are delivered alongside core subjects such as Functional Skills in English, Maths, and Digital Skills, as well as PSHE and Preparation for Adulthood (PFA).

Woodpecker Court’s unique setting features extensive woodlands, a working farm, workshops, and outdoor classrooms that enrich the educational experience. Our curriculum is designed to blend practical learning with academic development, underpinned by a strong community ethos and a commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people.
