Goodwin Academy are seeking to expand their team of Learning Support Assistants at their vibrant and engaging state of the art mixed Academy based in the heart of Deal. 

Our Learning Support Assistants promote positive behaviour patterns, raise self-esteem and improve independent working in pupils to assist them in their education and growth, ensuring that individual needs do not become a barrier to learning and making progress. 

The successful candidate will be required to understand individual students’ needs and work with subject teachers so that they can develop learning programmes appropriate to the needs of those students.  Support will encompass both in class and through targeted interventions, which may also involve small group work.

 

This is a part time role over 5 days
