We are looking for a Lead Practitioner - Science for September 2024 and warmly welcome applications from experienced teachers who are passionate about science and have a proven track record of exceptional outcomes at GCSE and A Level. 

You will be joining a very passionate and effective team of teachers and leaders who work collaboratively to implement a digital IB curriculum with carefully planned interdisciplinary links with other departments. To hear more about the team and it's department from our Head of Department - Science, please click here. The Science team is part of Turing College (STEM subjects) and works closely with all other departments, particularly Maths, PE and Technology to ensure they deliver a highly ambitious, global curriculum with cross-curricular links. Information about the school

Being part of Leigh Academies Trust: As of 1st September 2022, our Trust comprises 31 geographically organised academies (15 secondaries, 14 primaries and 2 special) educating 20,000 students, and employing 3,000 talented staff.
