We are a popular village school, set in beautiful grounds by the seaside.

Our most recent Ofsted (May 2023) recognised the school as outstanding in all areas and described our children as thoughtful, caring and respectful of others. The children were found to be ambitious; taking responsibility for themselves and always wanting to do well.

Kingsdown and Ringwould CE Primary School is an outward looking school, always seeking to learn from the best. We are a recognised Thinking School and have Nurture School accreditation.

We strive to raise the aspirations of all, by creating independent and resilient learners, who make an individual and collective difference to our local and global environments.

The school is an founding member of DEALT MAT, which we formally joined in January 2021.
