We are recruiting a Cover Supervisor to join Holcombe Grammar School to provide cover for absent teaching staff and to facilitate the learning by Key Stage 3 and 4 students. The successful candidate will be required to supervise whole classes, assisting students in undertaking pre-planned learning activities. This is a great opportunity if you are pursuing a career as a Teacher or a Teaching Assistant as this role will provide experience of working in a classroom and interacting with students. 

Understanding of the educational system and current developments would be beneficial, as would previous experience in providing literacy or numeracy support at Key Stage 3 or 4.  The successful candidate will have effective communication skills both orally and in writing, together with excellent organisational, administrative and interpersonal skills.
