We are looking for a dynamic and innovative individual who is looking for a role teaching Computing, ICT and Graphic Design up to GCSE. The successful candidate will have up to date subject knowledge, a high level of emotional intelligence and resilience, a flexible approach to their work and an ability to embrace change.

You will be experienced in planning and delivering high-quality lessons as well as able to create a motivating and safe learning environment for all students. You will also be in touch with the latest developments within the ICT fields.

Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is desirable, but not essential.  The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to engage our pupils in learning as well as an understanding of how to support children with special educational needs to make best progress.  Strong behaviour management skills will also be essential.

We teach our students how to regulate using the Zones of Regulation. We use Restorative Approaches to build and maintain a sense of community and to provide our pupils with the ability and attitude to respect the viewpoints of others and, when necessary, take responsibility for resolving conflict and putting things right.

In our Ofsted inspection in March 2023, Elms School continues to be a Good school.
