We are looking to appoint a new Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated and experienced staff team. The role is to work both in class alongside the class teacher and during our OPAL lunchtimes.  For the right candidate there will be the opportunity for additional hours working as an HLTA (KR6)

The position is to start as soon as possible and is either:

Part time: 38 weeks a year - term time only, 4 hours a day, 20 hours a week. KR4 scale.

Full time: 38 weeks a year - term time only , 8.30 - 3.30 daily, 32.5 hours a week. KR4 Scale.

Aldington Primary School is a single form entry school located in the expanding village of Aldington. We have 190 pupils taught across 7 classes; providing a engaging, adventurous, learning journey for children between the ages of 4 and 11 years.

We have an excellent team of enthusiastic and dedicated teachers, support staff and governors. We work closely with our parents and community to provide quality education and exciting learning opportunities.

The school site is a picturesque one with many outdoor learning opportunities, including our own Forest School area. We also access many of the local areas of natural beauty to enhance our children’s learning.
