We are looking for a passionate, dedicated and highly motivated teacher to lead our Nursery and Year R Team from September 2024. The successful candidate will join our new and enthusiastic Senior Leadership Team to develop and continously improve our Early Years Foundation Stage which includes a Maintained Nursery and two reception classes. 

Do you have:

  • A passion for Early Years
  • A clear understanding of how children learn and develop, including early reading
  • A commitment to the development of enabling environments inside and outside
  • A desire to inspire, develop and support others
  • The ability to work collaboratively with others as part of a team in leading change
  • Experience of being a strong teacher in a Nursery or Year R Classroom, who is able to meet the diverse needs of all learners?

Information about the school

We are very proud of our wonderful school which was judged as good with outstanding features. Our most recent Ofsted inspection was in October 2022.

We have 16 classes including our maintained Nursery. A set of Core Values underpin all that we do which ensure high expectations of both learning and behaviour. They are 'Equality, Responsibility, Respect, Resilience and Challenge.' Our inclusive school is based on a large, well resourced site just outside Maidstone town centre. Our excellent facilities include a library, extensive outdoor learning areas and an ASD Satellite.

Our school has a happy and caring ethos and is is full of well motivated children, supported by a hardworking and fully committed team of staff and governors.
