We are seeking to appoint for the position of Attendance Manager to join our expanding team. As a key member of the Student Support team, you will take specific ownership for undertaking all tasks associated with the management and monitoring of attendance.

In this role you will provide an effective and efficient service to the school and prospective parents, working with individual pupils and their families to improve attendance. You will be able to challenge families and develop effective processes to reduce pupils and family's barriers to attendance.

As an Attendance Manager, you will:

• Work alongside the pastoral and safeguarding team to promote excellent attendance and work with families to reduce levels of absence

• Report on attendance and punctuality data

• Host formal meetings with parents/carers to discuss attendance concerns

To be in successful in this role you will:

• Be educated to NVQ level 2/3 or the equivalent, with previous experience of working with young people and their families.

• Have experience and knowledge of using attendance modules in SIMS/Bromcom, with the ability to work in an organised and methodical way in order to maintain accurate records.

• Be able to convey information clearly and accurately, both orally and in writing to a range of people, dealing calmly, tactfully and effectively with a wide range of people.

• Have knowledge of a range of computer applications, including work Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Bromcom.
