We are seeking to appoint a science teacher for Key Stage 2, who is as passionate about this subject as our children are. This is a part time position for the equivilant of two days a week (we are able to be flexible). You will be working closely with our KS2 team, and the current post holder is remaining on staff having taken another position - so you will have lots of support!

The successful candidate will have a strong subject knowledge and experience teaching KS2. This could be a secondary or primary trained teacher. This will be a permanenet position.

St Marys School is a friendly and popular C of E Primary School in the St Mary’s ward of Swanley. We have strong links with both the local church, St Mary the Virgin, and the wider community. We have a one form entry across the school, as well as a successful LEA nursery attached, which takes children from the age of 2. Our staff are highly motivated and hard working, setting high standards for the 270 pupils in their care. Our results at the end of Key Stage 2 are often above the national average, and this is reflective of how hard working and professional our staff are.
