Are you an engaging Maths Teacher?  Can you motivate learners to reach their full potential?

KITE College requires a dynamic, motivated, pro-active and well-organised individual to deliver the Maths curriculum to students with a range of special educational needs. 

The role will be demanding and challenging, but very rewarding. A sound knowledge of delivering GCSE and Functional Skills Maths is essential.  Knowledge of SEN strategies and programmes for special educational provision is essential. 

The successful candidate will have a direct impact on learners lives, raising aspirations and improving opportunities for our young people.

Kite College is an Independent Specialist Post-16 College in Sittingbourne, providing specialist education and training for young people with learning difficulties of small class size of 6-8 learners.  We are looking to develop our Maths curriculum further and are looking to appoint a new member of the team who can inspire and improve the outcomes for our learners.

Motivate and support learners with SEND, ASD and SEMH.

  • Produce high quality programmes of study including, planning, development, teaching and assessment, schemes of work and quality.
  • Act as an academic and pastoral tutor to learners.
  • Train and engage learners on a range of topics and tasks relevant to the awarding body.
