We are looking to appoint a reliable, hardworking, flexible and self-motivated person in the role of Caretaker from 1 September 2024

You will be responsible for the security, caretaking, cleaning and general maintenance needs of the school premises. Knowledge of Health & Safety is required for this post.

We need someone who is proactive, flexible and supportive with a can-do attitude. The safety of the pupils and staff is central to this role and we need someone to work closely with the Senior Leaders of the school to ensure our school site is maintained to the highest standard that will offer all children the best learning environment indoors and out.

22.5 hours per week to be worked 4.5 hours a day, Monday to Friday, during term time and adapted during the school holidays to suit the needs of the school. Exact hours to be discussed at interview.

Archbishop Courtenay Church of England Primary School is an expanding 1.5 form entry school and a member of Aquila, The Diocese of Canterbury Academies Trust (www.aquilatrust.co.uk).

We work closely with our community, especially All Saints' Church, and have a PTFA which helps organise many events. PE and music specialists provide additional curriculum enrichment. All early years classrooms have their own, purpose-built outside learning environment. Our Pastoral & Wellbeing Manager offers highly effective support to our pupils and their families.
