Job Purpose:

  • To carry out professional duties and to have responsibility for an assigned class.
  • To be responsible for the day-to-day learning and management of the class and the safety and welfare of the pupils, during on-site and off-site activities.
  • To promote the aims and objectives of the school and maintain its philosophy of education and nurture.
  • To lead, coordinate and develop our early years provision.

Information about the school

St Matthew's High Brooms Church of England Primary School, is a two-form entry Church of England primary school in a semi-urban area of Tunbridge Wells and Southborough. We have an extensive site and large outdoor areas.

At present there are approximately 360 children on roll. The school serves the community of High Brooms, St John's and Southborough.

We are a happy and lively school that places the children at the heart of everything that we do. Children benefit from many opportunities and take part in the excellent range of academic, physical and creative activities that we offer, both during and after school.

Our most recent Ofsted in July 2018 was graded good.
