Are you self motivated, highly organised, and have good interpersonal skills? Dp you have a wide range of practical skills? If so, Staplehurst School is looking for a full time Site Manager to join our team.

We are looking for an enthusistic, adaptable and hard-working individual to join our support team. Good DIY and practical skills are essential and experience of working in a school/or in a trade such as building, plumbing etc. would be an advantage. Candidates must also be computer literate.

The successful candidate will contribute to the overall ethos and aims of Staplehurst School by striving to achive greater value for money in maintenance and day to day running of the school buildings and site.

The responsibilities of the role will cover various aspects of site management including a wide range of duties as follows:

  • Fire and security.
  • Monitoring contracts and contractors.
  • Routine maintenance and repairs.
  • Cleanliness.
  • Good communication skills, both orally and written.
  • Able to priortise and manage work whilst maintaining a flexible approach in responding to urgent requests.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety in the workplace.
  • Driving license.

You will need to be flexible in your work ethic in order to meet the ever changing needs within a primary school.

The role will be a KR6 starting salary of £25,127. Working hours will be 37 per week.

Our school is a two form entry community school, with approximately 400 pupils.
