Inclusion Supervisor – May 2024

Salary: MNS Range 7

We are seeking to appoint an Inclusion Supervisor who will be responsible for managing an area providing effective interventions for students that have been placed in Inclusion for poor behaviour in lessons, around school or outside school. The successful candidate will support the development of a range of appropriate interventions for students to access according to need and measure their effectiveness. They will work collaboratively with the Inclusion Manager on the strategic development of inclusion in reviewing the processes and resources to ensure relevant interventions are in place to support student reflection, reform and continued engagement in the curriculum.

Applicants must have evidence of a high standard of literacy and numeracy (i.e. GCSE English and Maths Grade C/4 or above or equivalent). Additionally, they should be confident, resilient and assertive and have the ability to work with students with a range of needs in challenging circumstances.

35 hours per week. 8.00 am until 3.30 pm Monday and 8.30am – 4.00 pm Tuesday to Friday (inclusive of a 30-minute lunch break daily) term time only.

Salary is MNS Range 7   £25,757.00 - £29,159.00 per annum (full time equivalent).  As the position is term-time only, the actual salary equates to £21,143.00 - £23,935.00 per annum. Alongside this salary the school will contribute 22.5% (the equivalent of between £4,757.00 - £5,385.00 pa) towards you being a member of the Local Government Pension Scheme.
