Clerk to Trustees

Part-time role

Pay: Hourly Paid £15.50 (p/h)

The Clerk role is home based, with a requirement for travel to attend meetings when required. There are nine core evening meetings throughout the academic year.  The role is a term time, part time role, with negotiable hours. The role provides a clerking service to the KITE College Trust Board for college focused committees. The main purpose of the Clerk is to provide administrative support including setting the agenda through consultation and minute taking each meeting. In addition, it would be helpful if the Clerk was able to offer advice to the Committee on governance/trust, constitutional and procedural matters.

Committee’s may require advice in regard to exercising their delegated responsibilities and the Clerk should;

  • Provide effective administrative support to the Committee;
  • Ensure that the Committee is properly constituted;
  • Manage information effectively in accordance with legal requirements

 The Clerk will report to the Chair of the Trust and liaise and negotiate closely with the College Principal.
