The Leadership Team at Valley Invicta Primary School at East Borough, are seeking to appoint an inspirational and nurturing teacher to join our dedicated and enthusiastic team. This post is ideally suited to someone who has experience of working in KS1. The role would be for 2 days (Mon/Tues) and a PPA afternoon (likely a Wednesday).  This post is to cover maternity leave from September to December 2024.

We have an established, strong curriculum that is well-resourced. This is supplemented by a fantastic learning environment with our own ICT Suite, music room and fantastic outdoor spaces including a Forest School.

We are looking for a skilled practitioner who can:

  • Exhibit the East Borough Core Values in your professional behaviours.
  • Be an excellent role model for teaching and learning.
  • Support the children with the transition into Year 1.
  • Demonstrate a confidence in teaching phonics (RWI pedagogy ideal but not essential)

Valley Invicta Primary School at East Borough is a two-form entry school for children aged 4 to 11, with a Specialist Resource Provision, in the heart of the local community.

The school’s spacious facilities sit in a large outdoor space, with a forest school, and well-equipped sports and play areas. There are many extra-curricular activities on offer and bespoke spaces for music and ICT.
