The Howard Academy Trust has a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Officer to join our talented and progressive Central Operations Finance team. The successful candidate will join us at an exciting time in our growth as a Multi Academy Trust, with immediate effect.

Applications for part time (minimum 30 hours) or full time (37 hours) will be accepted. This role will be Term Time Only plus 2/3 weeks and hours are worked over Monday- Friday. Flexibility for varied hours and working days will be considered and discussed further at interview level. Hybrid working is also available.

 

The successful candidate will provide high quality financial support as part of the Trust Central Finance Team, lead on the preparation of payment runs, including preparation of pay lists and uploading to the bank, and ensure the effective operation of the Finance department. The successful applicant will be organised, hardworking, and have a keen eye for detail.

Information about the federation

The Howard Academy Trust started in Autumn 2015 and continues to grow.

We currently comprise of 3 secondary and 4 primary academies in Medway and Kent. We have future growth plans as a Multi Academy Trust with major projects taking place across the organisation. Our overarching aim and vision for our schools is “working together to create a community of successful learners”. In doing this, we will deliver an outstanding education for the children and young people who attend our academies.
