Teacher of Mathematics – Required for September 2024

 

We are seeking to appoint a passionate and enthusiastic Teacher of Mathematics from September 2024. The successful candidate will be required to teach KS3 and KS4 with an opportunity to teach A Level for the right candidate.  The position is open to ECTs as well as more experienced colleagues. With a great track record of providing support to our staff, we also welcome applications from primary school teachers with a maths specialism, who are looking to move into the secondary sector.

 

The mathematics department is a high performing department with a strong team. There are currently eight full-time teachers, one part-time, two Teaching Assistant’s and one part-time intervention tutor within the department. Students study Pearson Edexcel at both GCSE and A Level.

Maplesden Noakes is an 11-18 co-educational non-selective school. The school has an excellent reputation, is popular with parents and regularly over-subscribed.
