We are looking to appoint someone who understands the importance of a great first impression. Someone who is positive, adaptable and able to work well in busy environments. 

We are looking to appoint an experienced administration assistant for our busy school office. Someone who understands the importance of a great first impression. Someone who is positive, adaptable and able to thrive in a busy environment. The right candidate will work as part of a supportive, highly commited team, under the leadership of the office manager. The office team are central to the fantastic provision that we offer to our children: organising, booking and supporting teaching staff with trips, visits and essential resources. The office is the hub of our busy, vibrant school so an ability to be flexible along with highly effective communication skills are essentiail to this role. A good standard of English, Maths and ICT skills is also a requirement. 

Experience of working in a school office, school management information systems and admissions procedures are essential.

 Kent Range 4 – pro rata for 37 hours p/week – 39 weeks per year.

Newington Community Primary School and Nursery is a large primary school which is situated on the outskirts of Ramsgate. In July, Newington joined the Coastal Academies Trust, working alongside the other schools to benefit all of our children across Thanet.
