Finance Officer

Kent Range 4

12hrs per week (2 days), 39 weeks per annum

Salary FTE: £21 389, plus Elms Allowance £1422

Pro rata Salary: £6019, Plus Allowance £525

 

We are looking to recruit a part time Finance Officer who is able to multitask in a busy and demanding environment.  You will completing a range of financial tasks including placing orders, invoicing and dealing with supplier issues.  Previous experience will be an advantage, but is not essential as full training will be given.

We are looking for someone who has confident IT skills and a professional and friendly manner.  You will need to be organised, reliable and able to prioritise work. 

This is a 2 day a week position covering 12 hours in total, with Thursday being one of the days to be worked, the school can be flexible with the other day.

Elms is a special school for pupils with social, emotional, mental health and learning needs.

Elms School offers staff the following support:

Access to an on-site HR Advisor, who is also a Mental Health First Aider; Fortnightly Supervision for Teachers; Membership of Benenden Health Care; Access to Support Line Counselling; Menopause Support; SLT open door approach; Team Teach Training; Full Time DSL.

Our highly-trained staff provide bespoke therapeutic interventions, such as Thrive or Trauma Informed Practice, to address social emotional development and enable pupils to manage their behaviour and regulate their emotions so that they can form meaningful relationships throughout their lives. We teach our students how to regulate using the Zones of Regulation. We use Restorative Approaches to build and maintain a sense of community and to provide our pupils with the ability and attitude to respect the viewpoints of others and, when necessary, take responsibility for resolving conflict and putting things right.

In our Ofsted inspection in March 2023, Elms School continues to be a Good school.
