We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced practitioner to join our hard working team. Fundamentally, we are looking for a candidate who is kind, committed and who will work with the children's best interests at the heart of everything they do.

We may interview applicants at an earlier date than stated, therefore encourage candidates to apply early.

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • NVQ Level 3 in an Early Years Qualification
  • Has a positive attitude and is passionate about helping children to learn, thrive and flourish
  • Has a proven track record of working with children with a range of learning needs
  • Is well organised, reliable and a flexible team member
  • Good interpersonal skills enabling effective communication with children, parents and colleagues
  • Is self-motivated and able to show initiative in inspiring learners
  • Has high expectations of pupils and an understanding of how to help children to develop as independent learners
  • Is committed to ongoing professional development

We can offer you:

  • Children who are respectful, warm and want to learn
  • A truly supportive team of staff at Newington
  • Support and guidance from our excellent leadership team
  • Ongoing training to support own professional development
