We have a rare and exciting vacancy for an Art Teacher at Upton Junior School. 

Are you passionate about shaping young minds through the medium of art? Upton Junior School is an ‘outstanding’ school in Broadstairs, Kent, that embraces the belief that every child deserves "One Childhood, One Chance." As a school with a strong history of academic achievement we are looking for a dynamic and inspirational art teacher with the ability to engage and inspire our children. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our children’s lives by contributing to the delivery of outstanding art lessons for all of the children in the school.

Key responsibilities:

1. Champion art education across the Key Stage 2 curriculum

2. Explore connections with local secondary school's art departments to further enhance the art education we offer.

3. Bring your ambition for primary school art, organisational skills, and a strong artistic background to continue to embed art as a strength of our school and explore any new and exciting opportunities.

We welcome applications from early career teachers and experienced teachers.  The role can be either a part-time or full time position which is negotiable for the right applicant.
