We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our friendly, supportive and forward looking school. The successful candidate will be required, under the direction of the class teacher, to support in Year 1. This is a small class with only 12 children, however there is a child who requires a high level of support.

Applicants should hold at least a relevant NVQ2/OCR or equivalent. Previous Teaching Assistant experience would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.  A first aid certificate would be an advantage along with experience of delivering Read, Write, Inc.

The weekly hours, for this position are 8.30am - 3.15pm Monday - Friday.

St Peter's Church of England Primary school is a small, family school with around 105 pupils. We are located in the East End of Folkestone overlooking the harbour and on the same site as St Peter's Church. Our Christian ethos is based on the Gospel Values.
